An Everlasting Flower tea pot. My family are Warida clan from the Badimaya First Nation and this tea pot is for the fact that we all come from wild flower country in the mid-west of WA.  It’s at sunset as it's symbolic of womanhood.  My grandmother Molly Dowling (nee Latham) was born in a field of everlastings or as their known in Badimaya country Gurdurdung.  Each tea pot ended up becoming a conversation piece which is always good to start any good yarn with new friends or visiting family.  Yes, the top of the teapot is a large evelasting flower.

A Quandong Tea Pot. Try saying that fast!  I love making jam with quandong and my nephews love eating it all up before I can get any!  Yes, the tea pot lid handle looks like a quandong too.  A Wiru Dancing pot... Tiny Wiru spirits dancing with leaves in hands.  It’s on a red dirt landscape with little Warida (wedge tailed eagles) flying over the clouds.  he lid is a star pattern. The pot has a bamboo handle. Nice n strong.  It’s quite a big pot. I recon 3 cups in it.  Perfect for a yarn.
My nephew and I love tea Especially when it’s bush tea from country.  My first sojourn into porcelain painting so I painted the Kurrajong which is a medicine tree.   A Tracking Tea pot... I made one with emu, jardi (goanna) and camp fires in purple & gold.  It's good for teaching kids & adults about how to track.  These generic tea pots can be found in most opportunity shops or general department stores but I do recommend to recycling old tea pots over buying commercially mass produced items. peace

My Nana used to describe the internet like rivers all connected.  I painted this because I wish the internet was free again in Great Turtle Island (America) for all my friends there.    Forest in the Rain jug..... 2017 My dear sis Carol got me a grey pitcher/jug about two days ago and I did an instructional blog here to help people to do their own; It could function as a flower vase as well I recon.... It's made with ceramic pen and liquid ceramic paint nozzles application bottles found on Ebay.  black and white colour detail on the grey surface of the jug and heated to set at 120C in a standard oven for aproximately 30-40 minutes.  Remember to let the ceramic marker or paint set dry before attempting to move it to the oven to set the paint. Once the ceramic is heat cured it will be hot to the touch so leave till room temprature before moving. You can then use normally with washing with normal cleaning but remember not to use a metal scourer or the design will wear off the ceramic.  Once the ceramic is set in the oven remember to wash the surface gently and it's ready to use or display.
