If they’re going after the national parks too which were stolen just to prove ‘Australia’ kind of ‘cares’ about the sublime nature of God’s creation in it then they’re lying by their actions. Then the only term applicable is LAND GRAB for as much offshore wealth as they can steal for themselves. There’s not enough scrutiny of any of the colonial state here or the individuals at the swill trough in Canberra because they all have one HUGE thing they’ve used for themselves since they invaded and that ‘advantage’ is used with a criminal mindset regularly and that’s the ‘tyranny of distance’... It used to mean being so far away from ‘Mother England’ but it’s also been a ‘golden opportunity’ to NOT get caught by the world’s gaze or any judgement for what they do to we First Nations They say that if you stay too long out in the sun you get a kind of drunkenness. When they’re not in the sun they drink in their spite of us because we know who we are and what spirit is in the land here. They even whine about the NEED we HAVE to have in order to PROVE in THEIR ‘justice system’ our continual connection as dispossession First Nations people for this Native Title Scam (which was a stitch up job at best) WHILE they complain & whine about how far away they are from the loving bosom of ‘Great’ Britain or ‘home’? “Absolute power corrupts absolutely” That’s the quote that comes to my mind We have a similar saying in Warida Badimaya... “If you find a nest of 5 eggs out looking for a feed then only take 2... Leave 3 eggs behind for the bird to have an ever break for next season because you don’t own that bird ...or every bird that has ever existed.” That goes for all of us humans. We Badimaya First Nation people didn’t steal from anyone. We didn’t waste tax dollars. They stole our ancestors & our children’s land from us by saying our culture was extinct!??? At least I can say this here...thank goodness for social media aye. ‘Tyranny of distance’? Pffft! #LandRightsNow References; “Absolute power corrupts absolutely” - John Dalberg-Acton, 1st Baron Acton https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Dalberg-Acton,_1st_Baron_Acton https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise_Papers My nephew looking our the door of my studio.
